I thought from the beginning of my blogging journey that writing about our pups was going to be one of the easiest things to do. It turns out, it's actually one of the hardest. Trying to describe the love we have for our dogs is nearly impossible, but I'll do my best. And maybe, just maybe, by the end of this blog post, you'll feel like you know our pups a little better too.
Say hello to Phoebe Bleu, or as we sometimes call her, Peanut. What can I say...she's adorable. Well, at least we think so.

Phoebe was born in March of 2024 and came to join our family right at 8 weeks. From day one she has shown more spunk and personality than any dog we have ever owned. From the constant snorts to the face kisses, Phoebe is the go-to gal when you need to fill your heart or put a smile on your face.

Phoebe is happiest when she is outside, especially when the temps are between 40-50 degrees. Being part of the short-nosed, flat-faced breed is definitely something we monitor with Phoebe as she tends to overheat more easily than our other Frenchie. When we do go on our adventures, we make sure to bring her backpack for when her legs get tired, extra water, and some common sense in regards to the temperature and humidity.

Phoebe has the special skill of being a professional wildlife spotter. Deer, squirrels, turkeys- you name it. This little girl can detect even the slightest movement and immediately goes on high alert. Despite weighing less than 20 pounds, Phoebe acts like the biggest dog around. However, in reality, she is more heart than bark.

Phoebe loves every adventure we take. She enjoys sniffing new trees, collecting sticks, and exploring just as much as we do. But...when the day is done, it's really done. That's when she snuggles up close, rests her chin on your arm, and drifts off to sleep...probably dreaming of the next adventure somewhere down the next backroad.
