Meet the Road Crew- Buster Pogačar

Each of our Frenchies is special in their own way, but just like Phoebe, our love runs deep for this big guy - Buster. He was our first Frenchie, and because of him, we eventually added a second. His sensitive personality and the way he shows affection made us realize just how much room we had in our lives for another dog. We can't imagine our adventures without him.

Say hello to Buster Pogačar, or as we sometimes call him, Buggie. What can I say... he's a handsome guy. Well, at least we think so.

You might be wondering about his name, Pogačar. One of the things we love doing with the dogs is going biking. We hook up the trailer behind one of our bikes, load the pups in, and take off down the trail. Buster's name comes from the famous cyclist, Tadej Pogačar, which feels fitting because cycling is one of our favorite things to do together.

But Buster's interests go far beyond biking. He absolutely loves to go for walks. Just the mention of the word "walk" and he is jumping by the door, letting out a squeaky whine, and impatiently waiting to go. Up hills, over logs, through creeks, Buster simply wants to explore.

He is also crazy about water, especially swimming. Anytime we can take our travels to water, we do because he loves it. We barely have enough time to put his life jacket on before he's barreling out of the truck and running full speed towards the shoreline. And if he's not swimming, Buster is just as happy on the boat, jumping with excitement when a fish is caught or letting the cool breeze drift over his ears.

All adventuring aside, Buster is our snuggler. Despite weighing around thirty pounds, he never misses a chance to curl up on someone's lap. If ever a dog could read our emotions, Buster is that dog. And when the day is done, Buster is the first to climb into bed to claim his spot, which happens to be right in the middle. With his head down and paws outstretched, he's almost certain to be dreaming about the next trail waiting somewhere down the road.
